Helicopter Ride!

This summer I've been working at a helicopter flight school in Salt Lake City and initially I took the job because a) I hated working at the law firm, and b) we needed to pay the bills. At first I just thought of it as any other job--kind of mundane, but it could be worse. But now I see how great it really has been! Okay okay, the work is still pretty mundane, but I've grown to love everyone I work with and I think I'm really going to miss them when I go. And the best part about my job? A free helicopter ride!!
We went up and lapped around downtown Salt Lake City a few times so I could take photos. Then we flew through the canyons and up into Park City. It was so gorgeous! Some shots from the air:

Salt Lake public library
The temple, conference center, and old tabernacle
 The capital building
Trying to snap a photo from inside the helicopter
It was so beautiful and pictures didn't really do it justice, so I gave up and just enjoyed the rest of the ride
I had to get a picture in front of the helicopter with Justin, the pilot who took me up
He was great and took me up for over an hour when really I was only supposed to go up for 30 minutes
I absolutely loved the helicopter ride! I've been up in little cessna airplanes twice before for intro flights, but this was far better. I told Grant that if we had $90,000 to invest right now, I'd seriously love to do this. But for now I think I'll settle on asking for another ride for Christmas :)
