Anyways, I finally received some good luck two weeks ago and had two different interviews on that Friday morning. And a couple of hours later I heard back from the first job and got it! So I made plans to start the following Tuesday (last week, after Memorial Day). Those plans changed, however, when I injured my back on the Monday before. I don't even know what happened--I was at the grocery store and I wasn't doing anything different but all of a sudden my back started hurting. It was only bothering me a little bit until I brought all the groceries in to the house in one trip. As soon as I got up the stairs my back seized up and I couldn't do anything except lay on the floor in pain :( The worst part was Grant wasn't even home! He was in Idaho with his brother and sister-in-law riding ATVs. Luckily, though, my sister was down in Orem so she was able to come up and pick up Grant when he did get back and I didn't have to be alone for too long. I actually thought I was doing a lot better and we even went down to Provo to hang out with our friends, but that night when we went to sleep the pain came back, tenfold. I wasn't able to sleep at all, it was so bad. I kept moving from the bed to the floor, then back to the bed, then back to the floor. In the end, I think I only got an hour or two of sleep in total--it was a terrible night. And the next morning I was supposed to start work! But that definitely didn't happen, instead Grant took me to the doctor and we got hooked up with a chiropractor, who I've been seeing ever since. I'm doing a little better, but the pain still won't go away. Hopefully it will soon though! And I start work tomorrow, so I'm really hoping it won't be too much of a problem.
Okay enough with the sad stuff! A few weeks ago I found out my friend Lyndsey does eyelash extensions and I've been wanting them for so long, but it's so expensive to get them at a salon. Lucky for me Lyndsey does them for a really great price so I was able to convince Grant :) and I absolutely love them! I'll definitely be recommending Lyndsey to anyone who asks since she did such a great job!

We've also started watching The Bachelorette with our friends every Monday. They do a Bachelorette "draft" where we split into teams and then make picks for three guys. Each team then tracks their guys throughout the show and keeps track of the points they score from each episode. Whoever has the most points at the end, wins. It's been pretty fun so far, and it's a way to keep Grant entertained (since he really doesn't like the show.) And for everyone who watches the show, our team's guys are: Bentley, Ben F., and Chris D. All three are still in, so we'll see how it goes!
(well I wrote that part on Sunday and after tonight's show our team is really suffering! Two of our guys gone in just one week! Oh well...)
Another thing that happened lately is my cousin Taylor got home from his mission this month! His homecoming was not yesterday, but the Sunday before (while Grant was out of town). I went down to Orem to hear him speak in his ward and then afterward there was a party at his house for him. He gave an amazing talk at church--one that I'm sure won't soon be forgotten--and the party was a lot of fun as well. It was great to see him around all his friends, and to be there with family.
Oh and I finally started work! Today was my first day and it was pretty overwhelming. I'm working at a law firm as a legal assistant and today was training and overloading our brains with information. It was definitely a lot to take in and it's going to take me a while to get everything down, but I'm actually pretty excited. The place I'm working at requires everyone (even the attorney's that work there) to start off working in the call center so you really learn the ins and outs of the law firm. BUT I already got moved out of the call center! I guess the guy who initially interviewed me for the job was pretty impressed by me and so he recommended me to be moved to a different apartment. I couldn't be happier because I was dreading being on the phones all day. Now I'll be an assistant and looking over medical files and social security claims and helping to write proposals in favor of our clients. Tomorrow's my second day so I guess we'll see how it goes!

Congrats on your job!
Sorry about your bachelorette predictions. I can't believe you chose Bentley. What a giant sociopath. And Chris. What a giant nobody. Geez, Callie. =)
I'm choosing not to be offended that I wasn't invited to your housewarming party, since that obviously means you don't consider us real friends. Or maybe you just only invite people who have husbands. whatever. I'm choosing to believe that one of your parties in the future will be a group of people I know...like editing minors. Or a group of more interesting people I know.
I'm done now. I hope your back feels better.
