Lazy Sunday

Happy Sunday everyone! I was able to sleep in today (!) and this is what I woke up to...
Grant made me breakfast in bed! A broccoli & cheese omelet with orange juice! I just have the greatest husband in the world :)

Since we finally had some free time today, we fixed up our living room! I'm so happy with how it all looks!
This is my attempt to hide all the sound system stuff for our TV. I think the suitcases look great!
We finished the kitchen last week, the bathroom two nights ago, and the living room today. Now all that is left is our bedroom! I have a feeling that might take a while, because we are currently using it to hold all the stuff we don't know where to put! We also need to hang up everything on the walls. Our little home is definitely crammed, but it's cozy and since there's only Grant and I, it's working out just great! I'll post more pictures of the kitchen and bathroom later.

Tonight we got together with Ben, Steve&Jessie, Lindsay&Preston, Nicole&Jamie, Justin&Holly, and Travis&Lexi. We had game night and played Nertz for a long while and then switched to Curses. Tomorrow night a bunch of us are going to go see Shutter Island in the dollar theatre! I am so excited - I've wanted to see it since it came out months ago, but we are poor college students so we have to wait until it gets to the dollar theatre! Wednesday is Holly's bachelorette party, which I'm really excited for, and then Thursday we might have craft night. So this week is going to be pretty busy (but also very fun!)

Another goal of mine is to take more pictures. I realize I hardly have any pictures with our friends, so I need to be more conscious about that. I even told myself that last night I would take pictures of when Erica and Sloane came over but I completely forgot! It was so much fun to see them though, since I've been married I haven't seen Sloane once! And Erica I've only ever seen a couple of times, and for only an hour or so. We were going to watch a movie, but ended up just chatting the whole time. It was really great :)

On Saturday we helped Andrea move up to Logan. (I know I'm doing this chronology backwards, but it's how I'm reviewing the weekend in my head). Grant and I woke up around the time we were supposed to be leaving our house, so we got ready very quickly and headed to go pick up the trailer. The moving process wasn't bad at all - in Salt Lake it only took about 30 minutes tops to get her stuff moved from her house to the U-Haul. Then we drove up to Logan and unloaded her into her new house. She lives in a really cute neighborhood right next to the temple (which I've never seen before and it is gorgeous!) and I think she's going to have a great time.

Before we left we went out for lunch at Firestone (rivals Brick Oven), walked around USU campus, and then got some ice-cream at the Aggie's Ice-Cream place (just like the creamery). It was definitely a tiring day, but it was fun to see Andrea. It makes me sad to think I won't see her now for a couple of months! I used to get to see her all the time.

Here's us after we finished moving!
And a couple of Grant and I taking a power nap on the grass at USU...
And briskly waking up...
And on Friday, Grant and I went shopping! I will definitely add pictures later of all the great stuff I got! We first went up to the Park City Outlets and Grant got a bunch of shirts, a pair of shorts, a pair of pants, a swim suit, and I think that's it. I got a ton too! (It was great!) I got 3 dresses, 4 shirts, a pair of shorts, a pair of pants, socks, and shoes! We went to Anthropologie afterward (my absolute favorite!) and I shopped around and spent all my gift cards that I was given for my bridal showers (thanks to everyone for those!!!)

All in all, a great weekend. I'm not looking forward to waking up early tomorrow morning for work...and Grant has a test and several papers/projects :-/

I can't wait for next weekend!

I love your blog!

The Logan temple is so beautiful. One of my favorites. Plus the community around it is very cute. I would totally live there if they didn't have winters of death.
