Grant and I decided it was about time we actually clean up our room instead of having piles of unclaimed papers on top of the dressers, clothes thrown everywhere. and pillows littering the floor. We tackled it about a week ago and the difference has been so nice! We finally went through and organized things, found a place for everything, and threw a ton of stuff out.
There's still nothing on our walls but soon that will change! We are getting our wedding pictures back soon and we're going to get some canvas's made up of our favorite pictures. Plus we have a huge box of paintings and other things to go on the wall, we just haven't gotten to sorting it out yet :) But anyways, here's what it looks like now!

That last picture is of the doll that Gail made for me! It's me! Gail went out and found the perfect doll that looks like me and then actually made that dress and jacket she is wearing to look just like my wedding dress did. And her veil and flowers look just like mine did! This is a tradition in her family that goes back to her Mom's Mom. I think it's the best tradition ever and I was absolutely amazed that Gail did this for me. I love the doll! And I need to learn how to sew so I can continue this tradition! :)
We also cleaned up our bathroom and organized it. It's such a small little space so I couldn't really get any great pictures of it. But we chose these beautiful blue towels which really lights the bathroom up. We also were given cream and brown colored containers for all our toiletries so you'll see some of those in the pictures. I really like how it looks (though it's hard to get a feel for it from the pictures)

I'm so happy with how our house is turning out. I'll be really happy when we get things on the walls and all our piles of boxes put away. I know it will still take some time since we're both so buy, but for now I'm just happy that we're making progress.
